Summary
My involvement in the post-production process was vast through multiple post-production fascists. This includes finishing working on Sound Design with Emerson and Tyler. I also helped Tyler with knowing where the shots should be placed in the final edit.
Evidence of Further Contribution
Evidence of Further Contribution with Director:
Evidence of Continued Contribution with the Editor:
Scheduling Re-Shoots as a result of the Editing Process: We didn’t do any reshoots.
Other Contributions: Finishing making the soundtrack on Soundtrap.
How I Could Have Improved The Film
Examples of Suggested Cinematography: The wide shot could have been wider to establish more aloneness. The advisors thought that we could have a shot establishing who the text was from.
Other Recommended Changes to the Film: Establishing who the text was from by having Emereson pick up her phone before replying to the text.
What I Learned
Throughout Aberration’s production, I learned that we should trust the filming process even when it didn’t appear as if the film was going to turn out well. This film proved this as it turned out relatively good even when production was troubled.
